About the South Tower Resident's Association
Our mission is to protect your investment. Because your investment helps our investment.
Our Committee
The members of the committee for the South Tower Resident's Association, Manchester, have a wealth of experience in various areas which are all designed to function as a single body representing everyone that owns or rents an apartment in Deansgate Square South Tower.
Members of our committee include Lawyers, Journalists, Chartered Accountants, business men and women; all of whom are very experienced and successful in their fields. This means, not only are we going to look after our legal and financial interests, we are here to help look after yours.
How we started
The South Tower Resident's Association, Manchester, was formed to ensure that all residents, owners, occupiers, investors, and tenants, felt as though they are living in one of the most luxurious developments in Manchester. By coming together as an association we have been able to become a voice capable of speaking up about matter that are personal to us, because we are living our mission day-to-day.
Our overall aim is to have an effective working relationship with the Landlord, FQ Developments Ltd, the Management Company, South Tower Management Company, and their appointed Managing Agent, Zenith Management Ltd. Together, we can manage the estate in a way that is effective for all residents and stakeholders. We can divert service charge money to the places that need it the most. After all, who would be better suited to ensuring that the demands and the needs of the estate are met if not the parties with a vested interest in keeping it running.
As with any development, especially one this size, there have been some issues around the estate, and some incidents we felt that needed a guiding hand to take care of them. The association was formed and a small committee appointed by way of ensuring that we could give each and every member of the estate an opportunity to raise concerns with fellow residents; to discuss priorities, concerns and most importantly, to help each other. None of the committee members are paid for the job we do, we do it simply because no one could better represent us unless they lived here too.
By joining the association you are helping us to effectively represent your interest, we need to make sure our numbers grow. You are helping to improve and maintain the development, and you will also be given a voice. With 497 apartments in the South Tower alone, the South Tower Residents Association need to ensure that we are both legally recognised and effective in achieving our common goal.

When I first saw a notice about the formation of the STRA, I didn't really give it
much thought. I don't mind telling you, I had no intention of joining the association
it's just not something I would do. After a while, we started having some problems around
the building, and Zenith didn't really help. We decided to join the association to see
if other people had similar experiences. As it turned out, we weren't the only ones with
concerns. We felt like we were listened to, and that everyone in the association wanted
the same thing. I was so glad to have joined. But, I decided I wanted to do more. I put
a lot of time into trying to help out that I somehow ended up agreeing to join the
committee. Now, I am not a member of the STRA to sort my issues out, I am an active member
of the STRA Committee dedicated to helping others.

I purchased my apartment in Deansgate Square, because Manchester is a booming
city. Since I have been a member of the South Tower Residents Association at Deansgate Square,
they have kept me up to date with lots of information about security, what facilities are
open and available, and their online meetings are an excellent opportunity to meet other
owners with similar concerns regarding service charge and maintenance. They keep me
updated so I don't have to worry.
